If you just took the battery off without letting it go to sleep first it may have 'lost' the keys hence the immob fault. You need to get it on a Lexia to find out what it's upset about. For those like myself who know nothing about the ECO system I had a quick look in the new C4 Picasso handbook on the service.citroen site (documentation de bord, select language and then the car ). The ECO system is the STOP / START system which should reduce fuel use in stop/start town driving conditions. However I'm not fully clear what the " economy mode" is all about and when it is triggered. I've read the manual but the 6 lines on thye economy mode don't tell me much! Basically when I try to put the radio/CD on (or a host of other functions) without the engine running, the car says " economy mode active". Took that thing off (fairly easily), it was one wire on that plastic connector that goes into base, unit, that has all bulbs in it. Looked like it was melt a bit. Use some very small screwdriver and tried to clean that plastic. Then, used some WD40 (as I didnt have contact cleaner), leaved it for 15 min, then, connected all again.
